Writing from the heart ( A blog for writers)

"To write is to express ... "

Most writers probably agree with this quotation, we have different types of writers, from the ones who use simple words but to those complicated ones, the one who informs, the one who entertains, the one who persuades and the one who criticizes. They might have different purposes but all of them are united with the thought of expressing oneself through wide play of words.

I live in a world wherein writing is the main star of the show. All my fellow friends are good in writing their thoughts about a certain topic. They are campus journalists. They are students but neophytes in different aspects of writing. It's like they have been through adulthood whenever they write a word. I also have friends who could write short stories which anyone who reads their works would be so thrilled and the passion is really obvious through the experiences being brought out.

They say that one should be that smart to write a piece. I believe that it doesn't matter whether your grammar sucks a bit, or your spelling gets out the way or your penmanship is like the chicken's feet, it takes a real passion and heart for writing. If you're honest and you love expressing, your work will show it's own heart from the passion you are possessing.

If you are the kind of writer who competes like my friends, never let goals eat your head. Writing is never meant for competing. We write to express not to win anything. Those who write non fiction stories, they write because they want to share people what they feel or what should we feel. Those who write journalistic articles, they write to let people know what the world does, not to let the world know what they do.

We learn to write letters, we learn to arrange ideas and we learn to format the whole writings. But, an ardent writer can always make you learn. He or she can always find a way to touch our hearts, it's not because he is genius or she is good in punning, but he can always write what is genuine to what he feels in his experiences. That's what I call, writing from the heart.

I have already experience such emotions, empowering all my senses, possessing my hands to hold a pen and write my thoughts. One mustn't use the brain actually, the deep words or the great sentences, it's all what one really means and that's what connects our words, our writings into people's hearts and minds.
